This room caters for 12 children aged from 6 months old with 3 educators providing a 1:4 ratio. The nursery is designed to allow for a flexible routine in a home like environment.
Our service closely follows best practice recommendations for sleep and play as outlined by Red Nose (formerly SIDS and kids). Our educators work closely with families to ensure individual routines meet the needs of each child.
Children are supported to develop through key milestones in a safe environment that encourages exploration. Our babies program allows children to learn hands on using their five senses. This room caters for 15 children aged 2 years to 3 years with 3 educators, providing a 1:5 ratio. Our toddler classroom has been designed for hands on fun! With access to a large playground allowing for seamless transition between environments. Our toddler room allows opportunities for children to develop confidence and independence as they begin learning self-help skills such as toilet training, learning to self-serve meals, drinking out of a cup, learning to wash their own hands and make choices about their day.
Whilst supporting learning through play, this room also has a strong focus on children’s social and emotional development, including their interaction with peers, turn taking and becoming aware of those around them. Children will also begin forming friendships which additionally fosters their communication skills.
This room caters for 20 children aged 3-4 years with two educators providing a 1:10 ratio. This age group focuses on a Junior School Readiness program in preparation for the following year. This program has been developed over time by our qualified Early Childhood Teachers in conjunction with our local primary schools and families.

This room caters for 20 children aged 4-6 years with two educators also providing a 1:10 ratio and a more advanced School Readiness program which assists in the transition to school. The room features an interactive smart board and iPads to assist in the children’s learning.
In the Dolphins room we have a large focus on each child’s transition into formal schooling. We have worked closely with our local primary schools and parents who are also Primary school teachers to ensure our School Readiness program supports children in their transition.
